Oregon-born clarinetist Nicholas Weathers is committed to bringing his intense passion for music to audiences through dynamic performances. He is the recipient of the 2020 Oregon Music Hall of Fame scholarship and silver medalist of the 2019 Oregon state solo clarinet competition. He is currently subbing in Bay Area symphonies and pursuing his bachelor of music degree at the San Francisco Conservatory of Music in clarinet performance under the direction of Jerome Simas, with added guidance from Jeff Anderly and Carey Bell. Weathers has also had the privilege to study with clarinetists Sarah Brown and Louis DeMartino.
