This season’s competition will be open soon to pianists born after April 1, 2002. Applicants will be asked to play a concerto of their own choosing, and the first prize winner will be offered an opportunity to perform with the Diablo Symphony Orchestra in two concerts during the 2025-2026 season. Applications will be due by December 1, 2025, with the final competition to take place on January 11, 2026, at the Steinway Gallery in Walnut Creek.

Both the first and second prize winners will receive a cash honorarium. Final details and the application form will be available soon, so please watch this space!
