Michael JankoskyHailing from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, tenor Michael Jankosky has performed with many San Francisco Bay Area companies. This past season, he made his San Francisco Symphony debut as tenor soloist in Mendelssohn’s Second Symphony “Lobgesang” under the baton of Sir Andras Schiff as well as in Bach’s Johannes-Passion with San Francisco Symphony Chorus. Other recent performances include Mozart Mass in C minor, J.S. Bach’s Weihnachts-oratorium and Magnificat, C.P.E Bach’s Magnificat with the SF Choral Society; and Rachmaninoff’s All-Night Vigil with the Pacific Boychoir Academy. He gave the premiere workshop performances as Artemis Dodge in David Garner’s opera Mary Pleasant at Land’s End. Upcoming performances include tenor soloist in Bach Cantatas 95 & 139 with the Cantata Collective and Piedmont Children’s Choir’s “Ecco” choir.
